The Shakya Janapada, also known as Vajji or Lichchhavi Janapada, was one of the 16 Mahajanapadas located on the Indo-Nepal border, north of Gorakhpur, with its capital in Kapilavastu. The region's rich cultural and spiritual heritage left a lasting impact on Indian history and philosophy.The coins are known as the Narhan Hoard types based on those found in Narhan near Gorakhpur.
